With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carolyn J. Ball of Petal, Mississippi, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 11, 2025 at the age of 90. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willis Austin "Pep" Cooley and Sweetie Marie Green Cooley; her siblings, Bill Cooley, Athon Cooley, Willis Cooley and Jean Herndon; and her siblings-in-law, Elaine Cooley and Buddy Herndon.
She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Ball of Petal, Mississippi; her children, Mike Ball of Petal, Mississippi and Patricia Ball of Rancho Cordova, California; her grandchildren, Jermaine of Rancho Cordova, California and Lakia of Rancho Cordova, California; and her sister Sue Lene Ezell (Raymond "Butch") of Petal, Mississippi.. She is also survived by great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and great-nieces and nephews.
