He was predeceased by: his son Kevin Duckworth; and his parents, O. C. Duckworth and Justine Duckworth. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Duckworth; his children, Scott Duckworth (Tobi) and Leah Avenmarg (Josh); his grandchildren, Cailyn Duckworth, Gabriel Duckworth, Kinsley Sims and Cambri Conine; and his sister Patricia Gentry.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the Petal Harvey Baptist Church (600 S Main St, Petal, MS 39465). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
