With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Deidre Seale Smith of Petal, Mississippi, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 21, 2025 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Mavis McGufee. She is survived by: her husband Todd Smith; her children, Zach Smith (Gabby), Kalee Moore (Clint) and Zane Smith (Lynn); her grandchildren, Presley Ann, Grayson, Benton, Opal, Ozzy and Jojo; her stepfather James McGufee; and her brother Jay McGufee (Kappi).
Her LegacyIn lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to The Petal Education Foundation in memory of Dr. Dede Smith.
