She was predeceased by: her husband Cecil T. Anderson; her parents, Ed Ellis and Lucretia Ellis; her siblings, Lewis, Charles, Robert "R. B." Ellis and Sarah Hegwood; and her son John E. Anderson.
She is survived by: her children, Janice Coumbos (Demetrios) of Merritt Island, Florida and James W. "Jim" Anderson of Petal; and her grandchildren, Carolyn Thompson, Lori Ward, Michael Anderson, Sherry Lucky, Vasili Coumbos and Katerina Coumbos.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Sunrise Baptist Church (299 Sunrise Rd, Petal, MS 39465). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to Sunrise Baptist Church Mission Fund, Sunrise Baptist Church Building Fund or to Lottie Moon Mission Fund.
