We announce the death of Jacqueline Eloise Kersh Thach of Petal, Mississippi, who passed away on May 28, 2026, at the age of 68. Jacqueline will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Redfearn Kersh and Anna Eloise Thomas Kersh; her sister Carolyn Kersh Fenech; and her nieces, Tracy Carole Kersh and Anna Rigdon Norman.
She is survived by: her husband Eugene "Sandy" Thach; her son Keeton Thomas Thach; and her siblings, Mary Ann Kersh Harrington (Alan Harrington), Patricia Kersh Rigdon (Ed Rigdon), Susan Kersh Poiroux (Joey Poiroux), John Kersh (Lynn Kersh) and James Kersh (Anita Kersh). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Amyloidosis Foundation, whose mission is to advance research, education, and support for individuals and families affected by amyloidosis.
