He is survived by: his wife Ann Tyler Thompson; his mother Evelyn Thompson; his children, Scott Horton and Dana Horton; his sister Sandra White (Andy); his grandchildren, Matthew Horton (Savannah), Austin Horton (Brekae), Aimee Broome (Blake), Kara Bounds, Rebecca Bailey and Jacob Horton (Caroline); and his nephews, Clay White (Kristen) and Matt White (Elise). He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
James Daniel "Danny" Thompson, 71, of Petal, went to his eternal home on Monday, March 17, 2025 at Bedford Alzheimer's Care Center in Hattiesburg.
