With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Laverne Collum of Petal, Mississippi, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 13, 2025 at the age of 77. She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Hennis and Bertha Hennis. She is survived by: her husband James Collum of Petal; her children, Angie Showes, Shelly Bagwell, Richard Collum (Karen) and Matthew Collum (Stacy); her grandchildren, Ashton Showes (Katrina), Cheyenne Bagwell, Lane Bagwell (Morgana), Jacob Bagwell, Justin Collum, Cole Collum and Kinsley Collum (Laykin Dixon); her great grandchildren, Alise, Adelyn, Mattson Showes and Bailey Bagwell; her siblings, Dolores Saucier, Ernie Al and Clint Hennis; and her grandchild Laykin. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and brother and sister in-laws.
