She was predeceased by: her parents, Elbert Wedgworth and Lena Wedgworth; her former husband Ruben "Peanut" Hinton; her husband Lee Allen Travis; and her siblings, Clyde Wedgworth, Mary Nell Bullock and Ruth Hinton.

She is survived by: her sisters, Virgina Cameron, Lillian Barnes and Grace Adams; and her children, Karen Strange (Tom), Cindy Howard (Glen) and Steve Hinton (Debra). She is also survived by 7 grandchildren;10 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Moore Funeral Home (789 MS-42, Petal, MS 39465). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
