It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phillip Denvil Herrin of Petal, Mississippi, who passed away on October 6, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Herrin, Jr. and Alice Rainey; his son Michael Herrin; and his siblings, Janie Lott, Michelle Herrin and David Herrin.
He is survived by: his wife Leah Herrin of Petal; his children, Robert Herrin, III (Delisa) of Boise, ID, Theresa Couture (Matt) of Gardner, KS, Elizabeth Hudson of Paola, KS and Phyllis Lynn Herrin of Hattiesburg; his granddaughters, Rebecca Rasberry, Amber Grace Herrin and Scarlett Hope Pendergrast; and his siblings, Wayne Herrin (Mary), Candy Sigler, Denise Crocker, Theresa Dolbear, Bobbie Jo Harrell, Misty Starlene and Trini Herrin. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the Moore Funeral Service - Hattiesburg (805 Hardy St, Hattiesburg, MS 39401). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at the Highland Cemetery (3401 W 7th St, Hattiesburg, MS 39401).
