Wanda Luè Sholar Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wanda Luè Sholar of Petal, Mississippi, who passed away on October 2, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Wanda Luè Sholar to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her mothers, Opal Yates Hennigan and Eva Belle Chandler Hennigan; and her siblings, Lucille Davis, Homer Laughlin, Jean Hughes, Ina Stone, Ronnie Jack Hennigan, Sarah Foshee and Mary Frances Hennigan.
She is survived by: her husband James "Top" Sholar of Petal, Mississippi; her children, TeJuana (Mark McGowin) of Mandeville, Louisiana and Chandler Sholar (Brandy) of Beaumont, Mississippi; her grandchildren, Scarlett (Aaron Walker) of Carthage, Lucky Buchanan (Danielle) of Rainbow, Lexie (Dalton Voge) of Myrick, John Sholar of Petal, Waylon Sholar of Beaumont, Jeff Sholar of Union, Branden McGowin (Sylvia) of Virginia Beach, Christian McGowin of Wiggins and Aubrey Saintclaire of Petal, Mississippi; her great grandchildren, Madi, Wyatt, Cordell and Athena; and her siblings, Larry Hennigan of Joaquin, Texas, Dalene Bivens of Center and Gayle (Jack Canton) of Havana, Arkansas. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Watson & Sons Funeral Home (1554 TX-7, Center, TX 75935). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at the Oaklawn Memorial Park (1554 TX-7, Center, TX 75935).
