Buddy McGee Obituary

We announce the death of Buddy McGee of Pheba, Mississippi, who passed away on June 3, 2026, at the age of 86. Buddy will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Mildred Calvert McGee; his son Frank Gates McGee; his sisters, Gola Ann Bruce and Mary Frank White; and his brothers-in-law, Carl Bruce and JC White.

He is survived by: his daughters, Linda Wade (Darren) and Evelyn McGee; his grandchildren, Lauryl Bussey (Justin), Lindsey Buckner (Brad) and Craig Wade; his great grandchildren, Josie, Wade Henry, Levi and Charleigh; his niece Rebecca Hood (Billy); his nephew Robert White (Brenda); his close friends, Tommy Millsaps and Matt Kelly; and his caregivers, Linda Millsaps, Monica Cole, Keena, Hanna and Abby of Gentiva Hospice. He is also survived by four great-nieces and nephews.
