With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Scotty Wooten of Pheba, Mississippi, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 29, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Clifton Wooten and Eloise McKee Wooten; and his siblings, Billy Wooten and Peggy Mizell. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Wooten of Pheba; his children, Tonya Wooten Jolly (Arick) of West Point, Toby Wooten (Lisa) of Houston and Yancy Wooten (Cesar Briseno) of Montpelier; his grandchildren, Cole Wooten, Breanna Woods, Riley Wooten, Austin Williams, Tiffany Smith (Cam), Cadience McElhenney, Annaka Langley and Gaven Smith; his great grandchildren, Everliegh Kate Smith and Gunnar Smith; his siblings, Dorothy Dazet of Madison, Sandra Morgan (Dennis) of Woodland, Sherry Thomas (Jimmy), Randy Wooten (Kathy) of West Point and Herbert Wooten (Brenda) of West Point; and his siblings-in-law, Barbara Wooten of Pheba and Lavert Mizell.

Donations may be made to Old Cumberland Cemetery.
