She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon Adams and Aliene Adams; and her brothers, David and Van Adams. She is survived by: her husband Leon Mims of Philadelphia; her daughter Cathy Deason of Philadelphia; her grandchildren, Alex Deason (Susanna) of Indianola and Aizlynne Deason of Philadelphia; and her brothers, Gordon Adams (Maureen), John Adams (Gail) and Paul Adams (Deborah). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
