He was predeceased by: his parents, BJ Sanderson and Bonnie Sanderson; his brothers, Roy Sanderson and Jasper Sanderson; and his parents-in-law, Tillman and Carolyn Skipper.
He is survived by: his wife Vicky Sanderson of Preston, MS; his children, Amy Sanderson of Philadelphia, MS and Andy Sanderson (Megan) of Philadelphia, MS; his grandchildren, Zoey Sanderson, Parker Sanderson and Preston Sanderson; and his siblings, Barbara White, Ann Coghlan (Richard) and Joe Sanderson (Teresa). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Calendar McClain Hays Chapel (1002 E Main St, Philadelphia, MS 39350). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In Lieu of flowers the family request all memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Lynville Community Church.
