He is survived by: his wife Mary Jo [Jemison] Cooper; his children, Mechelle [Royce] Burson, Priscilla Cooper and Heath [Patty] Cooper; his grandchildren, Paige [Cody] Rogers, Ryan [Ashley] Williams, Caitlin Williams, James [Kylie] Spalding and Madison Spalding; his great grandchildren, Lacey Lynn Rogers, Carson Crider and Haylee Jo Williams; his granddaughters, Samantha Breazeale and Leah Hamilton; and his brothers, Bob [Ava] Cooper, Joe Cooper of Martha, Mitchell and Bill [Fay] Cooper. He is also survived by many numerous nieces and nephews, extended family members, and friends.
