He was predeceased by: his parents, Houston "Bud" Jarvis, Sr. and Eloyse Fulton Jarvis; and his brother William "Bill" Jarvis. He is survived by: his wife Ethel Burkes Jarvis; his siblings, Ollie Burkes (Judy), Jeanie Jarvis Kilpatrick and Carol Peeler Jarvis; his children, Lynn, Fox (Jerry), Dave Thomas (Terri) and Kathy Thomas Owen (Richard); and his grandchildren, Charles "Jamie", Kelly Thomas Bertone (Cara), Alicia Thomas Goldapple (Chris) and Will Kommor (Courtney). He is also survived by six great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Dekalb Baptist Church (11 Bell St, De Kalb, MS 39328). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
