It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Pou Thompson of Philadelphia, Mississippi, who passed away on April 3, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, John Pou and Shirley Pou. She is survived by : her husband Kenneth Thompson of Philadelphia; her children, Wendy Bowen (Mike) of Jackson, TN, Johnny Thompson (Sharon) of Philadelphia and Kevin Thompson (Anita) of Meridian; her grandchildren, Cal Bowen (Brooke), Megan Bowen, Micah McKee, Josh Thompson (Mamie), Caleb Thompson (Cassie) and Abby Clanin (Mason); and her sister Barbara Rogers (John). She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
