He was predeceased by: his parents, A. D. White and Gracie Palmer White; and his siblings, Linda Altimor, James White and Robert White.
He is survived by: his daughter Alisha Thomas (Dustin) of Preston, MS; his grandson Lawson Thomas; his close friend Ouida McLaurin; and his cousin John White (Jan) of Louisville, MS. He is also survived by children and grandchildren.
