He was predeceased by: his parents, Hunter Hudson and Mary Wess; his children, Ricky Wess, Mark Wess, Gloria Wess and Susie Wess; and his grandson Genesis Wess (Bear).
He is survived by: his wife Emma Ree Wess; and his children, Dolphette Wess, Mary Sue McKee, Stanley Wess and Pamela Hathorn (Harold). He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
