She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas Palmer; her parents, Sharp Gilmer and Azzie Gilmer; and her siblings, Ada Boyd, Harold Gilmer and Billy Gilmer.
She is survived by: her sisters, Betsy Hutchins of Jackson and Marie Frazier (James) of Carthage. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
