She was predeceased by: her parents, John Dempsey and Velma Hamilton; her siblings, Mary McCann, Kathy Todd and R. A. Hamilton; her niece Misty Lindsey; and her great-niece Kristen Kittrell.
She is survived by: her sisters, Murle Duran of Noxapater, Rachel Mayo of Louisville and Diane Feasel of Philadelphia. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Plattsburg Baptist Church (744 MS-395, Philadelphia, MS 39346). A funeral service was held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
