Kareem; his grandchildren, Serenity Vivian Lee Carter, Amari Kingston Lee Carter and Himalaya Carter; his mother Claudine Carter-Hayes of Philadelphia, Mississippi; and his siblings, Carolyn A. Carter of Austin, Texas, Terry A. Carter of Chicago, Illinois, Bryan A. Carter, Sabrina of Saginaw, Michigan, Yolandia Carter-Gilmore, Monroe of Pontiac, Michigan and Marshall Carter of Chicago, Illinois.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, treasured friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Beck Funeral Home (10460 Co Rd 561, Philadelphia, MS 39350). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Calvary M. B. Church (1240 Mt Calvary Rd, Louisville, MS 39339).
