He is survived by: his wife Barbara "Camille" Carpenter; his children, Alexander Joseph Carpenter IV (Roxanne) and Melissa Waltrip (Jimmy); his siblings, Scott Carpenter, Matthew Carpenter (Angelle), Jan Mitchell (Guy) and Terry Giraud (Charlie); his granddaughter Ophelia Waltrip; and his pets, June and Louie.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and at 11:00 AM at the Picayune Funeral Home (815 S Haugh Ave, Picayune, MS 39466).
