It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arnold Rodney Burns Sr. of Picayune, Mississippi, who passed away on June 1, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Burns and Ida Burns; and his siblings, JD Burns, Thomas Burns, Herbert Ray Burns, Willie Merle Burns, Pauline Entrekin and Maudine Burns.

He is survived by: his wife Rosemary Tate; his sons, Arnold Rodney Burns, Jr. (Tessa) and Phillip Wayne Burns (Raven); his stepchildren, Byron Douglas Tate (Kim), Eastman Tate and Cynthia Tate; and his sister Rosalee Davis. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
