He was predeceased by: his wife Deborah D. Homburg; his parents, Anna Mae and Belden Homburg Sr.; and his brother Patrick Homburg. He is survived by: his children, Mark (Jamie), Michael (Jessica) and Maureen (Justin); his pet Deke; and his grandchildren, Sarah, Eric, Abigail, Thomas, Anna and Stella.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Jacob Schoen & Son Funeral Home (3827 Canal St, New Orleans, LA 70119). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 10:15 AM at the J. Garic Schoen Chapel. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the Greenwood Cemetery (5190 Canal Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124).
