She is survived by: her children, Dawn Melancon, Craig Melancon (Tanji) and Andrea West (Michael); her grandchildren, Monique Penton (Brad), Ashley Prewitt (Matthew), Ava Taft and Zachary Taft; her great grandchildren, Braden, Brody, Silas Penton, Job, Rachel Kate and Ellis Prewitt; and her sister Lena Aaron (Jerry). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and treasured friends.
