She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey "Sonny" Copeling and Catherine Griffin Copeling; and her nephews, Dusty and Joey Wilson. She is survived by: her significant other Abel Guerra; her children, Colby Hawthorne (Alexis) and Shawn Grigsby (Shawn); her grandchildren, Kimberlynn and Canton Hawthorne; her siblings, Suzanne Wilson, Mike Copeling (Evelyn) and Chun Copeling; and her siblings' children, Jaci, Jennifer, Michael, Melissa, Stacy, Robin and Christy.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Life Church (801 Hwy 11 S, Picayune, MS 39466). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the McNeill Cemetery (45 Alphabet Ave, Carriere, MS 39457).
