He was predeceased by : his parents, George Amaker and Joyce Lee Amaker; his brothers, George "Buddy" Lee and Joseph Jones; and his granddaughter Cynthia Catherine Hogue.

He is survived by : his daughter Stephanie Hogue (Mark); his grandchildren, Holly Dasinger (Dallas), Austin and Nathan Hogue; and his great grandchildren, Aria and Davy Dasinger.
