She was predeceased by: her parents, George Alford Hedgepeth and Eula May Hedgepeth; her husband Neville C. Barrett; and her siblings, Jessie Faye McCarty, Colon Hedgepeth, Lamar Hedgepeth, Martha Hedgepeth, Willard Hedgepeth and Christine Polk.
She is survived by: her daughter Debra Jo Barrett; and her brother Warren Hedgepeth. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the McDonald Funeral Home (401 W Canal St, Picayune, MS 39466). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the McDonald Funeral Home Chapel (401 W Canal St, Picayune, MS 39466). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Memorial Gardens Cemetery (2618 Hwy 43 S, Picayune, MS 39466).
