It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Ashley of Picayune, Mississippi, who passed away on November 3, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Elizabeth may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Elizabeth touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew James Whittington, Jr. and Betty Ann Mayfield; and her brother Whittington. She is survived by: her children, John Kevin Ashley (Samantha) and Deborah Ann Ashley; her grandchildren, Hillary, Colin, Kyleigh and Dalton; and her sister Phyllis Dillard. She is also survived by 2 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers Elizabeth would have loved for people to make contributions to their favorite charities.
