He was predeceased by : his parents, Carl Estes "Mitch" Mitchell and Doris Naquin Mitchell; his grandparents, Ellis A., Velma S. Mitchell, Antoine and Antoinette Naquin; and his sister Karen Sue Mitchell Davaine.
He is survived by : his siblings, Carl T. "Tommy" Mitchell, Patti Mitchell Todd and Glenn A. Mitchell (Bryan H. Mitchell). He is also survived by eight nieces and nephews.
