He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Meier and Selma Schwettmann Meier; and his sister Dorothy Lee Meier. He is survived by: his wife Paula Darlene Bounds Meier (Bounds); his children, Kelli Crapo (Peter), Christopher Meier (Marina), Erin Bulloch (Troy), Kerri Watkins, Marla Fendlason and David Watkins; his grandchildren, Zak, Aaron, Nik, Megan, Dylan, Hunter, Bailey, Reese, Alexis, Quinton, Ashton, Kaelie, Elena, Dave and Raegan; and his sisters, Bernice Meyer and Rebecca Conley.
Visitation was held on Thursday, June 25th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the McDonald Funeral Home (401 W Canal St, Picayune, MS 39466). A funeral service was held on Thursday, June 25th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the McDonald Funeral Home Chapel (401 W Canal St, Picayune, MS 39466).
