He was predeceased by: his parents, Elder Herman Harold Mitchell and Ethel Bounds Mitchell. He is survived by: his wife Anna Howell Mitchell; his children, Emily Mitchell and Greg Mitchell, Jr. (Mandi); his grandchildren, Gregory Mitchell, III (Treyton), Roman Mitchell and Brinley Mitchell; and his sister Patricia Trissie Moeller.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Salem Landmark Missionary Baptist Church (1 Salem Church Rd, Picayune, MS 39466). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Skipper Cemetery.
