He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas J. McCormick and Pauline McGehee McCormick; his aunt Florence "Aunt Poone" MeGehee; and his sister Linda Paulette Boutwell. He is survived by: his wife Naomi Knight McCormick; his children, Patti Michele McCormick, Chris Hunt (Blake) and Shelly Sullivan (Connor); his grandchildren, Jesse McCormick (Marissa), Trey Ortiz (Emmy), Callie Estopinal (Ryan), Landon Hunt, Jacob Campsey, Cooper Hunt, Aria Sullivan and Millie Sullivan; his great grandchildren, Deklin Alexander McCormick, Ellie Mae McCormick, Grayson Ira McCormick and Waylon Henry Ortiz; his brothers, Howell "Hal" McCormick (Georgia) and James "Lad" McCormick (Patty); and his brother-in-law Bruce Boutwell. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the McDonald Funeral Home (401 W Canal St, Picayune, MS 39466). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the McDonald Funeral Home Chapel (401 W Canal St, Picayune, MS 39466). A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the West Union Baptist Church Cemetery (560 W Union Rd, Carriere, MS 39426).
