He was predeceased by: his father Walter S. "June Bug" Adams Jr.; his son Christopher Rian Adams; his sister Debbie Adams; his father-in-law Elder Virgil Skipper; and his siblings-in-law, Regan and Arleen Skipper.
He is survived by: his daughter Kimberly Tennille Adams Wheeler (Joseph); his grandchildren, Taylor Wheeler, Chaise Wheeler and Nathan Wheeler; and his mother-in-law Judy Skipper. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
