He is survived by: his brother Jim; his wife Rita Alice Saunders; his children, Paul C. Saunders (Lisa), Alice E. Overby and Anne E Gill (Jody); his grandchildren, Michael Lynn Saunders (Mina), Calvin Lewis Saunders, William David Saunders, Paula Fay Saunders, Elizabeth C. Saunders, Clay M. Overby, Adron P. Overby, Jean-Anne V. Overby, Elaine R. Watson, James B. Watson (Adrian), Michaela F. Gill, Wesley B. Gill (Kaitlyn) and McKenzie E. Gill; his great grandchild Weston Michael Gill; and his brother David Merl Saunders (Carol).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church (1000 Goodyear Blvd, Picayune, MS 39466). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Biloxi National Cemetery (400 Veterans Ave, Biloxi, MS 39535-4968).
