He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Glidewell and Adrinne Smith Glidewell; his wife Lillian Christine Glidewell; and his siblings, Clarice Smith, Verlee Glidewell, Talmage Glidewell, Lucy Pearl Smith, Joseph Glydewell, Elsa Mae Lee, Daisy Moree Smith and Robert "Dee" Glydewell.
He is survived by: his children, Jerry Don Glidewell (Gloria), Chris Eddie Glidewell (Alice), Ann Jeselyn Dardar and Debbie Stewart (Kirk); and his close friend Annette James. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren.
