John Jacob Furey Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Jacob Furey of Picayune, Mississippi, whose presence will be deeply missed. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Furey and Rosalie Orr Crawford; his wife Shirley Faye Furey; and his brothers, Patrick Furey and Bobby Furey.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Craig Furey (Margaret), John Eric Furey (Lucinda) and Lisa Valletta; his grandchildren, Shelby Carver, Tayler Dahl (Jordan), Ryan Furey (Caitlin), Erin Furey and Amy Furey; his great grandchildren, Jaice, Ayiden, Gauge, Jackson, Kyler, Jolene, Roni, Ellie and Jensen; his siblings, James Furey, Jr. (Gwen) and Marceline Mayeaux; and his sister-in-law Faye Furey. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the First Southern Baptist Church of Pearlington, Pearlington (5487 MS-604, Pearlington, MS 39572). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the McDonald Funeral Home Chapel (401 W Canal St, Picayune, MS 39466).
