He is survived by: his wife Jimi McMurray Goodnow; his children, John Spafford Goodnow, Jr. (Karen), Shannuth Sharpe (Douglas) and Nancy Sharp; his stepson Chuck Head (Brooke); his grandchildren, Zachary Spafford Goodnow (Catherine), Christopher Joseph Goodnow, Andrew George Sharpe (Catherine), Lillian Adele Sharpe, Chase Head and Lauren Grace Head; and his great grandchild Cecilia Jolie Goodnow. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
