She is survived by: her children, Harl Penton (Susan), Tammy Smith Pervel (Vic) and Deirdra Lawrence (Ken Newman); her grandchildren, Jordan Penton (Rebecca), Jonathan Penton (Christiana), Lanie Smith (Jeremy Dunn) and Brian Lawrence (Hannah); her great grandchildren, Hunter and Ayden; her caregiver Debbie Magee; and her siblings, Judy Gilbert and Don Albritton.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the New Palestine Baptist Church (2336 Palestine Rd, Picayune, MS 39466). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
