He was predeceased by: his parents, Sirl Wilson and Iva Landry Hamby; his stepfather Granville Hamby; his sister Rebea Strand; and his granddaughter Danielle White.
He is survived by: his wife Wilma Mitchell Wilson; his daughters, Tara White (Kenneth), Ski Kennedy (John) and Nicki Wilson; his grandchildren, Eric Powell, Christopher Bennett, Jacob Kennedy (Rose) and Amber Kennedy; his great grandchildren, Hunter Thomas and Gracie Parks; his sister Georgia Ann Wilson Martin; and his nieces and nephews, Jo Ann White (Joie), Susan M. Martin, Laurie Lynn Martin, Tammy Stockstill (Todd), Marcy Mitchell (Thomas), Stacey Carter (Robert), Belinda Howard (Ken) and Terry Lee (Susan).
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sycamore Missionary Baptist Church (112 Sycamore Rd, Carriere, MS 39426). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Gipson Cemetery West Union.
