He is survived by: his wife Janet McCoy; his children, Lynn Jr. (Kamita Thigpen-McCoy), Daniel (Cindy Dukes), Lezlie (Christopher Smith) and Michael (Melinda Dukes); and his grandchildren, Matthew Dukes, Micah Dukes, Cameron Dukes, Isabella Thigpen and Evie Dukes. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Highland Cemetery (3401 W 7th St, Hattiesburg, MS 39401).
