As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Rowland may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy Bruce Hurst and Hilda Kerley Hurst; and his brother Joseph Eddie Hurst. He is survived by: his wife Iris Hurst; and his siblings, Bobby Hurst, Pam Bourne and Sandra Kramer.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church (1000 Goodyear Blvd, Picayune, MS 39466). A Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Gipson Cemetery (1195 W Union Rd, Carriere, MS 39426).
