She was predeceased by: her parents, Bobbie Jean Brown Steakley and Billy Steakley. She is survived by: her children, Meghan Thurman Finley (Brandon Finley), Sharon Nicole Artabasy (Karen Artabasy), Jonathan Thomas Thurman and Thomas Gabriel Thurman (Elizabeth Thurman); her granddaughter Clara Odette Thurman; her siblings, Gary Steakley and Suzane Steakley Love; and her brother-in-law John Thurman.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 4th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Resurrection Life Worship Center (795 Memorial Blvd # H, Picayune, MS 39466). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 4th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
