He is survived by: his wife Beatrice Sylvest Carlisle; and his children, Joann Hatch (Gary), Charles "Chuck" Carlisle, Dean Carlisle, Donna G. Lutenbacher (Keith), Debbie Pollitz (George, IV) and Randy Mitchell (Debbie). He is also survived by grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
