It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel Shockley of Pittsboro, Mississippi, born in Lansing, Michigan, who passed away on December 13, 2022, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, William Earnest Shockley and Lillian Mertie Baker Shockley; his siblings, William Earnest Shockley, Leslie Shockley, Mark Joseph Ellis and Teresa Eliane Howarth; and his grandchild Lakyn Burt.
He is survived by : his wife Elizabeth Gregory Shockley of Pittsboro; his children, Jody Burt (Ladonna) of Bruce and Courtney Simpson of Wheaton, IL; his siblings, Sandra Hyden of Burleson, TX, Barbara Shockley Peiffer (Michael) of Plano, TX, Patrick Shockley of Siearra Vista, AZ, James Shockley of League City, TX, Michael Shockley of Budd Lake, NJ and Scott Campbell of Calhoun City; his grandchildren, Chloe Burt, Kaitlyn Burt, Cody Coston, Aubrey Lee, Braiden Lee, Zander Irwin and Sarah Grace Griffin (Tristan); and his great grandchildren, Easton Griffin and Westley Griffin. He is also survived by his family and friends.
