He was predeceased by: his parents, Artie Seamster and Bessie Baby Seamster (Lightfoot); his wife Patricia "Pat" Nash Seamster; his siblings, Nola Mae Storment, James Willard Seamster, Junior Seamster, Donnie Seamster, Johnnie Seamster, Edsel Ray Seamster, Juanita Wilson, Betty Monier and Shirley Potts; his son Charles Dwayne Seamster; and his grandson Paul Andrew Duffy.

He is survived by: his brother Alvie Seamster of Bolivar, MO; his children, Scott Seamster of Plantersville, MS and Kim; his children-in-law, Sean Duffy of Gautier, MS and Shannon Seamster Blackwell (Jeff) of Tuscumbia, AL; his family Pat; his daughter Missy; his son-in-law Bob Dennis of Tupelo, MS; his grandchildren, Daniel Duffy, Alex Seamster, Vaughn Seamster, Noah Duffy, Blake Curry (Terri), Mallori McBryde (Michael), Madison Dennis and Morgan Dennis; his great grandchildren, Collin Curry, Beau Curry and Lucas McBryde; the mother of his children Linda Fraley Blackmon; and his friends, Vickie Gober and Bob Griffin.
