Dorothy Hare Obituary
We announce the death of Dorothy Hare of Plantersville, Mississippi, who passed away on October 19, 2026, at the age of 88. Dorothy will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Waddle and Ethel Wynona Beam Waddle; her husband Curtis Wayne Hare; her siblings, Linda Montague, Carolyn Moran, Peggy Parker and Benny Mac Waddle; and her close friend Bobby Hatfield.
She is survived by: her children, Cathy Hare Stasko (Chester) of Aberdeen and Michael "Mike" Hare (Rose) of Brewer; her grandchildren, Brandi Lindsey Estes (Don), Justin Hare, Jessica Cockrell (Matthew), Kristen Hare and Anna Whitworth (Bradley); her great grandchildren, Morgan, Molly (Jesse), Bryce, Benjamin, Bella, Colby and Asher; her great great grandchildren, Videl, Salem, Kurtis, Freya and Silas; her uncle Bryson Waddle (Sue) of Plantersville; her sister-in-law Nell Jaggers of Furrs; and her close friend Betty Westmoreland of Tupelo. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Holland Funeral Directors (5281 Cliff Gookin Blvd, Tupelo, MS 38801). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Sadie Holland Memorial Chapel (5281 Cliff Gookin Blvd, Tupelo, MS 38801).
