We announce the death of Scott Seamster of Plantersville, Mississippi, born in Linn Creek, Missouri, who passed away on August 3, 2026, at the age of 64. Scott will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his father Charles Seamster; his stepmother Pat Seamster; his brother Charles Dwayne Seamster; and his nephew Paul Andrew Duffy. He is survived by: his mother Linda Blackmon; his stepfather Larry Blackmon of Batesville, MS; his sister Kim; his brother-in-law Sean Duffy of Gautier, MS; his brother Michael; his sisters-in-law, Jenni Blackmon of Fort Worth, TX and Shannon Seamster Blackwell (Jeff) of Tuscumbia, AL; his stepsister Missy; his brother-in-law Bob Dennis of Tupelo, MS; his cousin David Wadley; and his nieces and nephews, Daniel Duffy, Alex Seamster, Vaughn Seamster, Noah Duffy, Price Blackmon, Henry Blackmon, Blake Curry (Terri), Mallori McBryde (Michael), Madison Dennis and Morgan Dennis. He is also survived by extended family including, aunts, uncles and cousins.
