He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles William Jackson and Helen Marie Hall Jackson of Plantersville, Mississippi.; his siblings, Charles Michael Jackson, Steven Lee Jackson and Cynthia Gail Jackson; and his close friend James Thomas "Tommy" Ruff, Jr. (Wild).

He is survived by : his sister-in-law Baretta "Moke" Jackson; his nieces and nephews, Samantha Gail Maxcy, Megan Jackson, Nikki Jackson, Dusty Jackson and Steven Jackson; his great-nieces, Re Anna Edwards and Jordan Edwards; and his close friends, Cynthia Ruff, Moses Ruff (Valerie), Kelly Hendrix (Brian), Kayla Criddle (Patrick), Jordan Kelly, Madelyn Kelly and Sophia Kelly.
